Mobile Clinic

This 32-foot long, state-of-the-art Mobile Dental Clinic has traveled to school sites throughout the Long Beach Unified School District to provide on-site dental services in a safe, fun environment.

The Mobile Dental Clinic Program was developed and funded in 2003 with support from Los Angeles County's 4th District Supervisor Don Knabe. The principle goal of the program is to significantly increase the level of oral health of children and families in the greater Long Beach area by going out into the community and providing free dental screenings and education.

Through a generous grant from LA Care, a wonderful collaboration with the long standing Long Beach Department of Health and Human Service's dental sealant Smile Bright Program began in 2007.

Bringing our services out into the community through the Mobile Clinic has brought us full circle to the vision that our founder Dr. Robert Anderson had when he first took a dental trailer out to local schools in 1932.

Supervisor Don Knabe was Principal for a Day at Grant Elementary School in Long Beach the same day the CDHC was there treating patients.
