We could not continue to provide such comprehensive services without the support of public and private entities, individual, corporate and foundation donors and of course, VOLUNTEERS!  See our various opportunities below. Students enjoy their service learning hours spent here at our Clinic. 

OUTREACH VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Oral Health Ambassador (Age 16+)
In the clinic and in the community, deliver workshops on general dental health, nutrition, emergency care and brushing and flossing.

Oral Health Education Center (age 12+)
In the clinic, work with children on lesson plans about nutrition and dental health. Play DVD and VHS educational tapes and read to children.

Outreach (age 12+)
Help with health fairs, family education, and dental screenings

ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Agency Project Assistant (Age 14+)
Help staff with day to day operations and special projects

Translation (Age 14+)
Translate documents used in outreach, clinic and Oral Health Education center into Spanish, Khmer or Vietnamese, or other

DEVELOPMENT – RAISING DOLLARS FOR DENTAL TREATMENT & PREVENTION
Fun and Rewarding volunteer opportunities:

• Work on Events:  invitation stuffing, centerpieces, decorations, raffle prizes, volunteering at event.
• Work on Mailings for Donations:  stuffing, labeling, collating
• Office support:  filing, organizing, etc.
• Marketing:  write the stories of the children we serve at the CDHC
• Grants Research:  research interesting bits of information on oral health and access to care
